Vitamin markets show mixed trends, with most suppliers resisting further price declines and some prices firming. Contracting for Q1 is well underway, while availability remains mostly steady across products. Market activity is cautious, with attention on forward cover and modest price adjustments.
Vitamin E 50%
Suppliers are all offering significant resistance to lowering their prices further. Some stopped offering, and others have increased prices. This goes for both Western and Chinese suppliers. By now, a large portion of Q1 has been contracted, and even a portion of Q2 is. The market has been active, and still is, but most material has been secured by now.
Vitamin A 1000
Suppliers are not willing to lower prices any further, and even several price offer increases have been seen. A good portion of Q1 has been contracted over the past weeks already, so there is no significant additional demand right now. The market seems to stabilise at the current super-low price level. Both Western and Chinese suppliers are reluctant to go down further with the price.
Vitamin D3 500
The market has been a bit weaker recently, and prices have come down. But for a week or so, things seem to change, and tightness in supply is reported from various sources. This has led to increased activity and inquiries, and prices have started to firm slightly this week. Q4 was already well contracted, and Q1 is now also being contracted partially.
Vitamin B2 80%
Very steady market and stable prices. Some minor price decline seen in China, as demand is somewhat behind locally and for export, but so far nothing major. Q4 and a portion of Q1 have been contracted.
D-Calpan
Little to no change compared to previous weeks. The market price is very low and it has stabilised for now, but market participants are now fully convinced yet if the bottom is there already. Wait and see mode and mostly spot buying, or maximum Q4 and some overlap into early Q1.
Vitamin B3
Prices have been stable now for some weeks, and by now most buyers have been taking forward cover well into Q1 and in some cases even a bit further. Prices are super low and have stopped declining further for some weeks now. Some suppliers try to increase the price a bit while others keep it stable. Until now, availability is okay.
Biotin
A slight price reduction is seen on pure biotin in China and therefore also on the diluted material in, for example, Europe. Suppliers continue to be very unsatisfied with the current low market price, but are also not taking significant action to change the situation. Buyers are calm and have taken long positions already some time ago, well into 2026.
Vitamin C 35% mono
Very little new information to share on vitamin C. Recently, prices stopped declining and even increased slightly, as suppliers started to offer significant resistance against further price decline. Most long-term forward contracts have been concluded now, which means at least Q4 and a good portion of Q1 are covered.
