Roxell introduces Discaflex and iQon Multifast

Roxell‘s new Discaflex feed transport system offers tailored capacities for different farm sizes, with drive units delivering 800 kg/h for circuits up to 200 m and 1,400 kg/h for circuits up to 400 m. It handles both meal and pellet feed. The company has also introduced iQon Multifast – the upgraded version of its advanced batch feeding system. Multifast, the Roxell batch feeding system combined with a weigher/mixer, will from now on also be controlled by the smart iQon control platform, resulting in an improvement in user-friendliness and precision in feed management for pig houses.

Renaissance BioScience named Crop Protection Solution of the Year

Renaissance BioScience and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization have received US$600,000 from the Saskatchewan Agricultural Development Fund for 2 projects. One project focuses on oral yeast-based vaccines for porcine epidemic diarrheal virus and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus, while the other improves gut health, immunity, and growth in piglets.

Cargill to acquire Mig-Plus, expanding animal nutrition business in Brazil

Cargill is set to acquire 100% of the operations of Mig-Plus, a family-owned company specialising in animal nutrition solutions for multiple species, primarily swine and ruminants, with a product portfolio that includes premixes, feed concentrates, and complete feeds. Founded in 1991, Mig-Plus is headquartered in Casca, Rio Grande do Sul, and operates 2 facilities with about 450 employees. 

dsm-firmenich releases results of its mycotoxin survey

dsm-firmenich has released the results of the World Mycotoxin Survey from January to June 2025. Some 10,868 samples were collected and analysed from 81 countries, resulting in 53,382 analyses. Deoxynivalenol, zearalenone and fumonisins mycotoxins were most frequently found, with the highest regions of mycotoxins found in North, Central and South America, South Asia, China and Taiwan. 

ADM to unveil innovative solutions for animal performance at SPACE 2025

During SPACE 2025, ADM will launch a new feed additive to help dairy farmers improve milk yields. The company will also showcase its Sincro data-driven services for animal producers and feed professionals for optimal livestock and poultry performance. One of the key highlights of its portfolio of solutions include Digest Carb for ruminants, which is a combination of additives aimed to optimise the rumen’s use of different energy sources (e.g., starch, fibre, sugars). Validated through on-farm trials, Digest Carb improves milk efficiency and optimises the energy formulation of feed.
