The global vitamins market remains quiet, with prices largely stable or slightly weaker across most categories. Demand is subdued as Q1 and some Q2 volumes were pre-contracted, and suppliers are resisting further price decreases. Most markets show little activity as buyers and sellers adopt a wait-and-see approach.

Vitamin E 50%
Ongoing strong resistance by suppliers against further price decline. Demand is not really there right now, as Q1 and a portion of Q2 were already contracted some time ago. But prices do not seem to go down further, and are already very low, and buyers have become more observant as suppliers continue to be reluctant to reduce the price or even offer at all. Overall, it is a quiet market.
Vitamin A 1000
After a period of stable prices, at a very low level, some new weakness is seen again amongst some traders who wish to offload further on (old) positions. The manufacturers themselves are not willing to reduce prices further. The market is very quiet, and there is no immediate demand right now. Q1 is contracted, and some Q2 is as well.
Vitamin D3 500
Very quiet market and mostly driven by spot business, and prices have weakened slightly again this week in most regions. Although in general, prices remain significantly elevated compared to last year. Q1 is contracted for a big part already.
Vitamin B2 80%
This continues to be a very static market, and prices are stable in all regions. No significant additional capacity is expected, but no increase in demand either. Q1 is mostly contracted, and it is quiet at the moment.
D-Calpan
No news or activity seen or reported compared to previous weeks. Prices remain relatively stable at a low level, and most buyers are either on the sidelines currently, as they have sufficient material under contract or expect a potential further price decline in 2026. Q1 is mostly contracted.
Vitamin B3
There was some sales pressure seen recently as some suppliers wanted to lock in some longer-term 2026 contracts. That seems to have calmed down now. Within a small bandwidth, prices have been very low and mostly stable. The market feels very quiet at the moment. A good portion of Q1 has been contracted by now.
Biotin
No news to report there at all. Prices have been stable for a long time already and remain at a very low level. There are no signs of nearby significant changes in the S&D and/or market dynamics. Q1 and a good portion of Q2 are contracted.
Vitamin C 35% mono
A stable to even slightly weaker tone is seen at the moment. Suppliers have tried very hard to keep prices stable or even increase them, but that is not easy as demand seems smaller than the global supply. Long-term contracts were already concluded some time ago, so any new business is mostly spot business, and prices have been a bit weaker in those cases, although nothing significant. Q1 and, in some cases, Q2 have been contracted already.
