The vitamin market continues to see limited activity, with most prices holding steady and Q1 contracts largely secured. Suppliers are showing some resistance to further price declines, yet overall demand has not picked up significantly. Markets remain quiet as buyers adopt a cautious approach towards longer-term commitments.

Vitamin E 50%
Not that much change is seen in the market. Suppliers offer continuous resistance against further price decline and even stop offering and/or increase price offers for new business. But as Q1 and a decent portion of Q2 are already contracted, there is not a lot of new demand seen, and prices remain at the current low level so far.
Vitamin A 1000
For some time, the price has been stable at a low price level. Some regional differences are seen in terms of availability and price movement, but nothing significant. Overall, the market is quiet, and prices remain stable. Q1 is contracted, and a portion of Q2 is as well.
Vitamin D3 500
In the past few weeks, the price of vitamin D3 500 has come down step by step, although still operating at a relatively high price level. Since last week, the speed of the decline has slowed down, and suppliers are starting to offer more resistance against further price decline. Still, old pending contracts are seen for Q1, and buyers remain conservative still for Q2 purchases so far.
Vitamin B2 80%
No changes reported at all, and prices have been stable for some time already. Market participants indicate that they do not foresee any changes in these dynamics. Q1 is contracted.
D-Calpan
Hardly any market activity is seen, and prices remain stable to slightly weak in all major regions. Availability is said to be good, and suppliers are keen to maintain a certain market share. Q1 is contracted by now, but Q2 is still mostly open.
Vitamin B3
A firmer market is seen, and reasonable buying activity in the past week and this week. The price for vitamin B3 has become very low, and suppliers have started to offer resistance and increase the price recently. Initially, there was not that much reaction, but now buyers have started to take longer-term positions, and prices have started to increase a bit. Q1 is contracted, and a good portion of Q2 is as well by now.
Biotin
After a long and stable period in terms of price movement, the price has recently come down for both pure biotin and the diluted versions, like biotin 2%. Supply outweighs demand is said. And that goes for all regions. But as a large portion of Q1 was already contracted, no significant buying activity has been seen so far at these lower price levels. Buyers have become cautious about making longer-term purchases beyond Q1 and are currently observing the market.
Vitamin C 35% mono
As there is no significant new demand seen currently for vitamin C products, prices have remained stable to slightly weaker in some cases. Market participants do not expect any significant change until new potential demand shows up in the market after CNY. As prices are very low, Q1 and a good portion of Q2 are already contracted.
